International Divers License: An International Drivers License is a valuable tool for keeping your Dream Motorcycle Adventure from becoming a nightmare. It’s inexpensive, easy to acquire and very handy to have. International Drivers License: I.D.L. is not a License in the traditional sense. I.D.L. does not exempt you from local traffic laws. I.D.L. is an Internationally recognized document that states your intention to follow and abide by Local Traffic Laws in accordance with Convention on International Road Traffic of 1949. I.D.L. contains listing of all Participating countries to Convention.. I.D.L. allows you to drive in Participating country without acquiring Local Driving License, as per Convention on International Road Traffic of 1949 I.D.L. is not valid as a Drivers License for and in the country where it is issued. I.D.L. must be accompanied at all times by Valid Drivers License from country where issued. I.D.L. is invalid without such license. I.D.L functions primarily as Courtesy Card and instrument of goodwill in native language of visited country. Present it at any time your I.D. is requested by any Official. It can’t hurt. Know the languages present in card and present that page to any inspecting Policeman or Official. Respect and Courtesy are always appreciated and awareness of Local Language is never a bad thing.
